Our heavy lift Alta 8 Pro system enables us to carry a high powered 2×2 LED array capable of putting out 65,000 Lumens, the brightness equivalent of a 7kW incandescent light. We’ve rigged the LED to allow complete independent control from the aircraft so that we have the ability to switch the light on and off, vary the intensity and rotate/tilt the lighting direction during flight. The gimbal operator is able to make precise adjustments to the lighting with an FPV camera that is attached to the front of the array which helps to ensure our subject is always accurately lit.

The drone light has a colour temperature of 5500K though we are able to add gels to achieve a different colour or temperature where required.
